So I just noticed the G.F. Development authority has their new website up. At least the home page is. Nothing else is on it though. I was going to ask what their intention or policy, if any, is concerning wind power development? Anybody?

This is just more smoke and mirrors from the current management of GFDA. It will likely be several more months before you see any content in their new website.
Today's Trib said that GFDA is creating another committee to explore business opportunities with respect to wind power.
Doney appears to be good at creating committees, but not much else. How many new jobs has he recruited to GF during his year and half tenure? Ah, I believe the answer is zero. Marketing seems to have come to a virtual standstill since he took over. It's difficult to attract new companies when you're not out there looking for them.
I had some similar thoughts myself. How long does it take to update a web page? I do it to mine at least once a week. How hard is it to run an ad? Is it really THAT hard to attract business to Great Falls?
Recruiting new business from outside is difficult and extremely competitive. The problem is GFDA is not even in the game and I don't believe that Doney has a clue.
How many committees is this guy going to create and how much smoke is he going to blow before his board holds his feet to the fire and forces him to do what he was hired to do--bring new jobs to the community.

I really hope you're wrong, but I fear you're right.
