Neighborhood Improvement

So I live in West Hill right. Well, It's a decent part of town. There are some nice places, friendly neighbors, and we have a great view. But it could definately be better. If you look at a map, you can see a narrow strip of land on the Eastern edge of the subdivision. It's a 2.27 acre piece of land, and it's completely vacant, save a few bushes and weeds. Can you see where I'm going with this? It's begging to have a park built on it. Everywhere else in town has a park nearby, except West Hill. We have a few vacant acres to the South where people ride their dirt bikes, but no real park. C'mon, how much is it to ask?

Here's a map.
