I painted my door red right. It was a kind of a dirty white with chipping bits before. So now it's bright red... real bright. I put on all new hardware including a knocker, a peephole, a kickplate, and a really big handle... so to speak. I heard that a red door meant guests were welcome. Now that I think about that some more, I'm not real sure I want a red door. Does a red door mean I'm open for sex business, guests are welcome? I sure hope so... I mean not. I meant not. I sure hope not. Will I start receiving strange visitors with strange requests? Will I face retribution from the neighbors for such a vulgar display? Thoughts?
